Emily and Cole's Santa Fe Elopement

I've known Emily since high school, and I was thrilled when she told me that she and her now husband were planning to elope in the Chimayo Mountains near Santa Fe, and they wanted me to photograph their ceremony.

We stayed at the Casa Escondida Bed and Breakfast in Chimayo, New Mexico, and Emily and Cole got married under the patio roof as it poured rain. The owner of the bed and breakfast, who officiated the ceremony, said that rain on a wedding day is auspicious. I'd have to agree.
